Gustavo Rivera, candidate for New York’s 33rd state Senate District, met Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. for lunch at Land & Sea Restaurant in Kingsbridge today. Mr. Diaz seemed to be positioning himself for a possible endorsement of Mr. Rivera, but said he would be open to a similar meeting with Community Board 8’s Dan Padernacht, another Democratic contender, should Mr. Padernacht request one.
